How we work
Five steps, one message house and a report that says what changed.
How a campaign runs
The same five steps for a product launch, a new service or a difficult announcement. Most campaigns take five to six weeks.
Listen
We interview you and two or three people who know the story best, and read what has been written so far.
Message house
One roof message, three pillars and the proof. You sign it off before a word of copy is written.
Materials and media list
The release, briefing notes, photos and a list of the journalists who cover the subject.
Launch
Embargoed briefings the day before, the release at 07:00, interviews through the day.
Report
Every piece of coverage, what it said, and what we would change next time.
What we believe
Four rules we work to, and that we will hold you to as well.
One message, not ten
If people remember one thing, make it the right thing. Everything else supports it or waits for another day.
Tell the people affected first
Staff, customers and neighbours should never learn the news from a headline.
Nothing we would not say on air
If a statement would not survive a live interview, we rewrite it before it goes out.
Report what changed
Coverage is a means. We report bookings, calls, sign-ups and opinion where we can measure them.
Got a story, or a problem?
Send it to us in five lines. A consultant replies within one working day (sample); out of hours, call the issues line.
