Specialist appointments on level 2, Monday to Friday. Follow the green line.
Clinics on level 2
Follow the green line from reception. Your letter gives the clinic letter.
Diabetes and endocrinology
Your outpatient appointment, step by step
Most clinic visits take an hour or less. This is what happens from the referral to the letter afterwards.
Clinic desks on level 2 open at 7:45 (sample). Bring your letter: it says which line to follow.
A referral
Your doctor refers you to the clinic. Some clinics also take requests from patients: send the form and we will tell you.
Your letter
We send a letter or text with the date, time, clinic and level. Call the number on it to change the time.
Getting here
Come fifteen minutes early. From reception, follow the line printed on your letter.
Checking in
Give your name at the clinic desk or the screen by the lifts. Bring the letter, photo ID and a list of your medicines.
After the appointment
The specialist explains what happens next. A summary goes to you and to your doctor within two weeks (sample).
Request an outpatient appointment
Send the form and the clinic team replies within two working days (sample). For anything urgent, call your doctor, or 911 in an emergency.
