Maternity care on level 4
Midwives and doctors look after you from your first scan to the weeks after the birth. Use the maternity entrance on Mill Street and the lift to level 4, or follow the violet line from reception.

What to bring when labour starts
- Your maternity notes and birth preferences
- Loose, comfortable clothes and nightwear
- Snacks and drinks for you and your birth partner
- Clothes and nappies for the baby
- A car seat for the journey home

Wards are open to visitors every afternoon and evening. Check the ward’s hours and which line to follow before you set off.
