Briefing a sign maker: what to send

A sign maker needs four things from us: a scaled drawing, the measured wall, the colours as paint or vinyl references, and the fixings (sample note).

We also send a photo of the street with the sign drawn in, so everyone agrees how big it will look before anything is cut.

Ask for a sample of the material and colour in daylight. Screens and paper both lie about outdoor colour.
