Four kinds of tree
Every tree is priced by its height, measured on the day. These are the trees growing on the hill this year (sample).
Soft, dark needles that stay on; our most picked tree
Narrow, fragrant, firm branches for heavy baubles
Silver-blue and very prickly; keeps its shape outdoors
The classic smell; cut it late, it drops sooner
Spruce or fir, 2-4 ft, to plant out in spring
From the farm shop
The barn by the car park sells everything you need to bring a tree home and dress the front door. Ask us to put anything aside.
Door wreath
Fir, eucalyptus and red baubles on a moss ring, 16 in.
Pine garland
Fresh pine and cones on cord, sold by the 6 ft length.
Living tree in a pot
A 2 ft fir in burlap to plant out in spring.
Bundle of boughs
Cut branches and cones for mantels and tables.
Reserve a tree, collect it later
There is no online checkout: tell us what you want and we keep it for you.
Ask
Send the request form or call with the kind and height you want, or come and tag one yourself in November.
We tag it
Your tree gets a red tag with your name and stays growing on the hill until you come.
Cut and take home
Cut it yourself or let us do it; we shake it, net it and you pay in the barn.
Choose and cut on the hill
Walk the rows, pick your tree and we lend you a saw, or choose one already cut in the barn. We shake it, net it and help tie it to your roof.
Opening days (sample). Last entry to the hill one hour before closing.
Evenings and delivery
On Friday evenings the hill is lit with lanterns until eight. On weekdays we bring trees to homes, offices and shops and set them up in the stand.
