Nordmann, Fraser or spruce: which tree is for you

Everyone asks which tree drops the fewest needles. The honest answer is the one you water (sample note).
Nordmann firs have soft, dark needles that stay on well and branches that point outwards, which is why most families choose one. Fraser firs are narrower, smell of citrus and have firm branches for heavy glass baubles.
Blue spruce is prickly and holds its shape outdoors; Norway spruce has the smell many people remember from childhood but drops sooner, so we suggest you cut it later in December.
