What a contamination condition asks for

Most land contamination conditions ask for the same four things, in the same order (sample note).
First a desk study, then, if it finds possible sources, a ground investigation and risk assessment. If the risk assessment finds a problem, a remediation strategy follows, and the last part is the verification report that shows the work was done.
Each part needs the council’s written agreement before the next starts, so leave time for their replies in the programme.
