Switching to us
From another provider, your accountant or a spreadsheet: four steps, no missed payday.
Switching from a spreadsheet or another provider
Most companies switch at the start of a month. Nobody’s pay is late, and the taxes already paid this year carry over.
1
Send last month's reports
Your last payroll summary, year-to-date totals and the employee list.
2
We set you up
Employees, pay rates, benefits and tax accounts entered and checked.
3
Parallel run
We run your next payroll alongside the old one and compare every payslip.
4
First live payday
We take over from the next pay run. Your old provider closes the month before.
Switching questions
When is the best time to switch?
At the start of a month or a quarter, so the tax filings split cleanly. We can switch mid-year too.
What happens to this year's totals?
We load your year-to-date figures from your last payroll report, so the year-end forms are complete.
Will employees notice?
Only the payslip layout changes. We send each employee a short note before the first one.
Do we need to tell our old provider?
Yes, give them the notice your contract asks for. We send you a checklist with the dates.
Hand over the next pay run
Tell us how many people you pay and how often. You get a fixed monthly quote and the date of the first pay run we could take on.
