How active is it?
Every tour has one of three grades. They describe the hardest day, not the average one.
Easy
Up to 2 hours walking a day
Town walks on pavements and short paths, with steps and some hills. Luggage is always carried for you.
Moderate
2 to 4 hours walking a day
Longer walks on country paths, some uneven ground and one or two climbs a day.
Active
4 to 6 hours walking a day
Mountain trails between huts, climbs of up to 800 m and a small day pack.
Questions before you choose
Can I travel on my own?
Yes, about a third of our travellers do. Single rooms are available on every tour, and we waive the supplement for one solo traveller per date.
What if not enough people book?
A date needs four travellers. If it is not confirmed eight weeks before departure, you choose another date or get your deposit back in full.
Are flights included?
No. You fly from your own airport; we suggest flight times that fit the first and last day, or book them for a small fee.
Can we change the itinerary?
Group tours keep their route. For your own dates, pace or hotels, ask about a private trip.
What is the age range?
Most travellers are between 40 and 75. Children from 12 are welcome on Easy tours with an adult.
