Anaesthetic

The operation
Closed: every cut inside the nose. Open: one small cut across the skin between the nostrils as well.
A splint
A small splint on the nose for a week, sometimes soft packs inside for a day.

- Bruising round the eyes for ten days or so
- No glasses resting on the nose for six weeks
- The final shape settles slowly over a year
