How a search runs
The same five stages as the sheet above. Most permanent searches take three to four weeks from the brief to an accepted offer (sample). Candidates come in at Search: that is when we read every application.

Day 1
A call or visit: duties, pay, hours, start date and who the person reports to.
Search
Days 2 to 8
We advertise, call people already registered and read every application.
Shortlist
Day 10
Three to five people, each with notes from our own interview.
Interviews
Days 12 to 20
We book the times, brief each candidate and collect feedback both ways.
Offer
By day 25
We make the offer, agree the start date and check in after the first week.
You meet fewer people, and the right ones
We interview every shortlisted candidate ourselves, check two references and confirm the right to work before you see a name. You get notes on each person, not a pile of CVs.
Temporary work, paid every Friday
Pick the shifts that suit you, from a single day to six months. Fill in your timesheet by Monday noon and the pay is in your account on Friday.
Bring to your registration
- Photo ID: passport or driving licence
- Proof of address from the last three months
- Your bank details and tax number
- Certificates for forklift, food hygiene or care, if you have them
