Your puppy’s first week: what to buy and what can wait

New puppy owners often leave the shop with far more than they need (sample note).

For the first week you need a bed or crate, two bowls, a collar with a tag, a lead, two or three toys and a bag of the food your puppy already eats. Keep that food for at least a week before you change anything.

Grooming brushes, coats and puzzle toys can wait until you know the coat and the character. Bring your puppy in and we will help you choose.
