Crowns
A crown covers a tooth that is weak, heavily filled or broken. It takes two visits, about two weeks apart.
Two visits for a crown
The lab makes the crown between the visits.
Porcelain or zirconia crown
Preparing the tooth
Visit 1, 60 minutes: the tooth is numbed and shaped, and a scan or impression is taken.
A temporary crown
Fitted the same day to protect the tooth while you wait.
In the lab
About two weeks: the crown is made to match the shade of your teeth.
Fitting
Visit 2, 30 minutes: the temporary comes off and the crown is cemented.
Book a check-up
Send the form and reception calls or emails you within one working day with a time (sample). New patients are welcome.
