Fitting and alterations
Try it on with someone who knows the cut, then have it altered in the back room. Hems are free on anything you buy here.
How a fitting goes
About thirty minutes, on the hour, no charge. Come as you are; bring the shoes you will wear.
1
We measure
Chest, waist, inside leg, collar and sleeve, written on a fitting card you keep.
2
You try two sizes
The one on your label and the one we think fits better, side by side in the mirror.
3
We pin and chalk
Sleeves, hems and waist marked while you wear it, so you see the change before we cut.
4
Collect it altered
Hems the same day for jeans, two working days for the rest (sample). We call when it is ready.

Before you come in
Can you alter something I bought elsewhere?
Yes, at the prices on the list. Bring it clean; we check what can be done at the counter.
How much can a waist be let out?
Most trousers have 2 to 4 cm in the back seam. Jeans usually cannot be let out.
Do I need to book a fitting?
Not on weekdays. On Saturdays book a slot, because the fitting room is busy (sample).
Can you fit a suit for a wedding in a hurry?
Tell us the date. With two weeks we can fit, alter and refit; with less, we say honestly what is possible.
Not sure of your size? Ask before you come in
Tell us what you are after and the sizes you usually wear. We check the wall, hold it for you and reply within a working day, or call (555) 018-3300 while the shop is open.
