Questions from new volunteers
Do I need experience?
No. Every new volunteer has a short training session and works with a team leader at first.
How much time do I need to give?
One three-hour shift a month is enough. Many volunteers come weekly.
Is there an age limit?
Volunteers aged 16 and 17 can sort and pack with a parent’s consent. Drivers and homework helpers must be 18 or over.
Help a neighbour this winter
Every gift is spent in Hillside, on the things on our ladder. A monthly gift lets us plan the shelves ahead.
