Notes on the Tide palette

Every Tide painting is made with Prussian blue, ultramarine, yellow ochre, a little burnt sienna and titanium white (sample).

Keeping the palette small means the greys of the mud are mixed from the same blues as the water, so the painting holds together.

The Rooms series adds one warm red for flowers and fruit. The Fields series swaps ultramarine for a green earth.
