A morning at low water on the sea wall

Low water was at 07:40 this morning, so the board was primed and the box packed the night before (sample).
The light changes fast on the mud: the first twenty minutes are for the big shapes, the channel and the line of the far shore. After that the shine on the mud goes, and so does the painting.
This board, Mudflat, ochre, is on the studio wall now. Two larger canvases will come out of it over the winter.
