Your money is held by a bank
Tillwell (sample) is a money app, not a bank. Your account and card are provided by our partner bank, Fenlow Bank (sample), and the money in it is protected by the national deposit insurance scheme up to the legal limit.
What do I need to open an account?
A phone with iOS or Android, photo ID (passport or driving licence), a home address in the country and to be 18 or over (sample).
How do round-ups work?
When you pay by card, the app rounds the payment up to the next whole dollar and moves the change into the pot you choose. A payment of an exact dollar amount has no round-up.
Can I take money out of a pot?
Yes, at any time, in one tap. Pots are part of your account, not a separate product.
Is there a fee to use the app?
The Free plan costs nothing a month. Every fee on every plan is on the Plans page (Example prices).
What happens if I lose my phone?
Call (555) 017-3300 and we lock the app and freeze the card. Log in on your new phone with your ID and a selfie video.
