Round-ups
Every card payment rounded up to the next dollar, the change moved to a pot.
The rule, drawn to scale
Each ruler is the last dollar of a payment, 100 cents wide. Ink is what you paid, raspberry is the change that moved, the teal tick is the next whole dollar.
- A $3.40 coffee: 40 cents paid, 60 cents to your pot
- A $12.00 cinema ticket: exact dollars, no round-up
- Round-ups move when the payment is final, usually the next day

Questions about round-ups
Which payments are rounded up?
Card payments in shops and online. Transfers, direct debits and cash withdrawals are not.
What if my balance is low?
If a round-up would take your balance below $5.00, it waits until money comes in (sample).
Can I choose the pot?
Yes. Round-ups go to one pot at a time; change it in the app whenever you like.
Can I switch round-ups off?
Yes, with one switch. The change already in your pots stays there.
