Questions from applicants
Do you interview?
Only for a few courses, such as Medicine and Social Work. The course page says so.
Can I apply as a mature student?
Yes. About one in five of our students is over 21 when they start. We look at work and life experience as well as qualifications.
How do international students apply?
Through the national admissions service for undergraduate courses, or directly to us for a master’s. The international office checks visas and English.
Can I defer my place?
Yes, by one year for most courses. Ask before you reply to the offer.
Come to an open day
Sit in on a taster lecture, meet the people who teach your subject and see the halls. Saturdays in autumn, 10:00 to 15:00 (sample).
