Admissions

How to apply for an undergraduate degree

Six steps from choosing a course to your first day. Most students apply in the autumn of their final school year.

1

Choose up to five courses

Compare course maps, come to an open day and talk to current students.

2

Apply by 29 January

Through the national admissions service, with a personal statement and a reference (sample deadline).

3

Get a decision

Most decisions arrive within six weeks; some courses invite you to an applicant day first.

4

Reply to your offers

Pick a firm choice and an insurance choice by early May.

5

Results day

We confirm your place in August, often even if you narrowly miss the grades.

6

Enrol and arrive
