- Groups of six or more: reserve a table
Order a gongfu tray
A small pot, a pitcher, tiny cups and a lot of leaf. You brew for a few seconds at a time and taste how the tea changes over eight or ten rounds. We show you the first round.
For oolong and pu-erh. About 45 minutes for two people, $18 (example prices).
Tastings and classes
Small groups around one table. Book a place online or ask at the counter; tea to take home is 10% off on the day (sample).

Just come in
Before you come
Do I need to book a table?
No, except for groups of six or more. Weekend afternoons are busiest; mornings are quiet.
Is there anything without caffeine?
Yes: three herbal infusions and a roasted barley tea. Ask at the counter.
Can I bring children?
Yes. We have high chairs and a pot of fruit infusion that children like.
Is the tea room step-free?
Yes, from Willow Lane, and the toilet is accessible.
Come and taste first
The tasting table is open from 11:00 every day except Monday. Taste any tea on the shelf before you buy it; there is no charge.
