How to write a design brief in half a page

The best briefs we get are short (sample note). They answer five questions: what you make, who buys it, what is not working, what has to happen by when, and roughly what you can spend.
You do not need to know what the answer looks like. That is our job. Tell us the problem in your own words and attach anything you already have: old logos, photos of your shop, a competitor you admire.
Half a page is enough to start a good first call.
