A newsroom for the local game
We started as a Monday results sheet pinned up in the clubhouse at Grandstand Road (sample). Now we cover four sports every weekend and send the morning email to the clubs, players and parents who follow them.
Our reporters go to the games. When they cannot, the clubs send us the result and we check it with the other side before it goes up.
How we report
Both clubs, every time
Every score is checked with both sides; every quote is from someone who was there.
Corrections in the open
Mistakes are fixed in the story and noted at its foot with the date.
No odds, no paid reports
We do not carry betting odds, and clubs cannot pay for coverage.

How do I get my club's results in?
Send them with the form on the Contact page or to [email protected] by Sunday 20:00: the score, the scorers and one line on the game.
Can you cover our game?
Tell us a week ahead. We go to as many games as we can and send the photographer to one a weekend.
I spotted a mistake. What now?
Use the form and choose “A correction”. We fix it and note it at the foot of the story.
Is the morning email free?
Yes. It goes out before 7:00 on weekdays, and every email has a one-click stop link (sample).
