Every desk, every weekend
Each sport has its own desk and its own reporter, who goes to the games, phones the clubs and writes the report the same night. Results from the games we cannot reach come in from club secretaries and are checked before they go up.
- Match reports by Sunday night, round-ups on Monday
- Results checked with both clubs
- Corrections at the foot of the story, dated
- No betting odds and no paid-for match reports
What you need to know
The morning email: last night’s results, today’s fixtures and the one story to read, before 7:00. Free, and one click to stop (sample).
