What paint to sample really involves

Paint to sample means the factory mixes a colour for you from a reference you bring us: a fabric, a photograph, a car you remember (sample note).
We send the reference to the paint shop, which sprays a test panel and posts it to us. You approve it in daylight here at the salon, and only then is the car scheduled.
Allow about fourteen weeks more than a metallic, and a surcharge from $12,500 (example prices). Some colours cannot be matched with the factory’s pigments; the paint shop will tell you before you commit.
