Bridge vote: the council publishes both plans in full

Springfield council has published the full engineering reports for both bridge plans ahead of the vote on 4 November (sample story).

The repair plan keeps the 1931 bridge open to cars with a weight limit; the new-bridge plan moves traffic 400 metres downstream and turns the old bridge into a footpath and cycle route.
