When is it time for a new mattress?

There is no fixed date, but most mattresses we take away have been in use for well over ten years (sample note).

Look for a dip where you sleep, springs you can feel or hear, and a mattress that feels very different from one side to the other. Sleeping better on holiday than at home is a hint too.

When you replace it, we take the old one away on the delivery trip and send it to a mattress recycler.
