How to try a mattress in the showroom

Most people sit on the edge of a mattress, bounce twice and decide. That tells you about the edge, not about the night (sample note).

Lie down in the position you fall asleep in and stay there for ten minutes. Turn over once or twice. If you share the bed, try it together and ask your partner to turn while you lie still.

Bring your own pillow: a pillow that is too high or too low changes how any mattress feels. And try your last two choices again at the end of the visit.
