Which is everyone. Ridgeway Golf Academy (sample) has taught beginners, returning golfers and juniors at the Kiln Road range since 2009.
The academy started with one coach and six bays (sample). Today four coaches teach about three hundred pupils a year, from first swings to county juniors.
Every lesson follows the same pattern: watch, choose one change, practise it, take a plan home. Pupils always know what they are working on and why.
Golf is easier to learn one piece at a time. These are the rules every coach here works to.
A lesson never ends with a list. You leave with one thing to work on and a drill that makes it stick.
Two cameras film your swing, so you can see the change for yourself, not only feel it.
Each plan fits the time you have: twenty minutes on the range or ten on the carpet at home.
Handicaps come down at different speeds. Your coach reviews your plan every six lessons and says plainly what is working.
