New arrivals

Guitars for this season

Classical, acoustic and electric guitars, new and used, every one set up at our own bench before it goes on the wall. Take any of them down and play it.

Welcome

to the shop

Fretline Guitars (sample) is a small shop with a workshop behind the counter. About sixty guitars hang on the walls: student classicals, solid-top acoustics, used electrics and a few we build ourselves.

Nothing goes on the wall before a luthier has checked the neck, levelled what needs levelling and set the action. That is why our guitars play well on the first day.

Play before you pay

About us

Since 2009 (sample)

Two guitar players and a luthier opened the shop in an old piano store on Alder Lane. We still sell guitars the way we like to buy them: off the wall, into your hands, with time to play and someone who can tell you what the neck is made of and why it feels the way it does.
