Why we vote with dots, and why everyone gets the same number

At every workshop each person gets the same strip of red dots, from the director to the newest member of the box office team (sample).

People vote at the same time, standing at the wall, so nobody waits to see what the boss picks. Then we count, and we talk about the top three before anything is decided.

The winning idea is not always the one we would have picked. When we disagree, we say so, and we show both on real formats before you choose.
