Five words you will hear in every metaverse story

Metaverse stories reuse the same handful of words, often loosely (sample note).

An avatar is how you appear; a digital twin is a live copy of a real place; interoperability means taking things from one world to another; persistence means the world carries on when you log off; presence is the feeling of being there.

Knowing the five makes it easier to tell a real product from a press release.
