Gas
The fee paid to the network for a transaction or for running a smart contract.

Using computing power to compete for the right to add the next block (proof of work).

How we report
Crypto moves fast and is full of loud claims. We slow it down and explain it.
We explain, we never predict
Every story says how something works or what happened. No price targets, no tips, no ‘what to buy this week’.
Nobody pays for coverage
We do not take money from projects, exchanges or token issuers to write about them, and we say so when a story mentions one.
Corrections in the open
When we get something wrong, we fix it and add a dated note at the end of the story.
Not financial advice. LT-Coinews is education and news only. Crypto assets can lose all their value; talk to a licensed adviser before any financial decision.
The weekly explainer: one topic, explained in plain words, every Sunday morning (sample).
