Hearing checks: what happens in the twenty minutes

A hearing check at work takes about twenty minutes and is done in a quiet room at your site (sample note).
The nurse asks a few questions about noise at work and at home, looks in each ear and then plays tones through headphones. You press a button each time you hear one.
You see your own results straight away. Your employer receives a summary only with your consent.
