The day of the operation
Most neutering operations are day surgery: your pet comes in in the morning and goes home in the afternoon.

The night before
No food after 22:00; water is fine. Rabbits keep eating as normal.

08:15 drop-off
A nurse weighs your pet and you sign the consent form.

The operation
Under general anaesthetic, usually before lunch.

A phone call
The vet calls you when your pet is awake.

Home time
Collect from 15:00 with written aftercare notes.

Nurse check
A free check two to three days later.
