Open daily from 14:00, weekends from 10:00 (sample)

An arcade built around the play space

Roomscale (sample) opened in an old print works on Foundry Road with one idea: VR is best when you can walk, so we gave it a floor.

Two players in VR headsets on motion seats in a dim arcade hall

From one headset to a ten-metre arena

We started with two headsets at weekend markets, tracing boundaries with tape on borrowed floors. People queued for a turn, and kept asking for a bigger space to play together (sample).

The print works gave us 600 square metres: room for a free-roam arena, four bays, a racing rig, a briefing room and a small studio where we build VR for local companies.

What every session includes

Whichever space you book, the same things come with it.

A host for every group

Someone who watches the game, not a screen in a corner. They pause, help and restart.

A clear boundary

Every space is mapped to the floor with padding on the walls. The grid lights up before you reach the edge.

Clean kit

Fresh face covers, wiped controllers and a UV-C cabinet between sessions.

Room to sit out

A quiet lounge with water and seats for anyone who needs a break or wants to watch.

The crew

Hosts, technicians and the studio team. Everyone takes a turn on the floor.

Ines Barros

Owner and floor manager (sample)

Plans the floor every morning.

Theo Marsh

Studio lead (sample)

Builds training simulations.

Priya Nand

Head host (sample)

Runs briefings and first aid.

Jonah Reyes

Party host (sample)

Knows every birthday game by heart.

Ada Kowal

Technician (sample)

Keeps 18 headsets charged and tracked.

Sam Okafor

3D artist (sample)

Draws the worlds you walk through.

Come and try a boundary

Book one session to start. Most first-timers ask for a second game before they leave.
