Why we still record to tape

About a third of our sessions go to two-inch tape (sample). It is slower to set up and the reel only holds sixteen tracks.

That limit is the point. With sixteen tracks, decisions get made on the day, and bands play the song instead of collecting parts for later.

Tape is charged at cost and the reel is yours to keep. Ask for it when you book.
