What a loading metre is, and why part loads are priced by it

A loading metre is one metre of trailer length, across the full width of the deck. A standard trailer is 13.6 m long (sample guide).
Euro pallets are 1.2 m by 0.8 m, and three fit side by side across the trailer. Three pallets therefore take 1.2 m, and one pallet counts as 0.4 m.
Pallets that cannot be stacked or are too tall to share their row take the full row. Tell us the heights when you ask for a quote and the planner will work out the metres.
