A small eyeshadow kit that does most looks

You do not need a palette of forty shades. Most everyday and evening looks need four: a skin-tone base, a soft matte for the crease, a deeper shade for the outer corner and one shimmer (sample advice).

Two brushes do it: a fluffy one for blending and a small flat one for the lash line. A clean finger is the best tool for shimmer.
