The Saturday market, five minutes from the door

Painted houses along a harbour front, people walking by the water in the distance

Every Saturday from 8:00 to 13:00 the square and Market Lane fill with stalls (sample).

Go early for the fish and the bread, late for the bargains. The cheese stall at the top of the lane lets you taste before you buy.

If you are leaving on Saturday, we keep your bags in the hall so you can walk down with empty hands.
