Why breakfast stops at 9:30 on weekdays

Breakfast runs from 8:00 to 9:30 on weekdays and from 8:30 to 10:00 at weekends (sample).

Owen bakes from six, cooks every plate to order and then helps make the rooms. If breakfast went on until eleven, the rooms would not be ready for the next guests at three.

If you want a slow morning, ask for a tray the night before. Coffee, bread and fruit can wait outside your door from 7:00.
