Looks
Ten starting points, each drawn as the curve it applies.
All ten looks
Four come free; the other six are in Plus and Studio. Each drawing is that look’s curve.
Matte
Lifts the blacks to a soft charcoal and lowers the whites a touch. Calm, printed-paper feel.
Punch
A steep S: darker shadows, brighter highlights. For flat light and grey days.
Soft
Rolls the highlights off gently so skin and white walls never look hard.
Bright
Raises the midtones and leaves black and white where they are. Rooms, food, overcast faces.
Faded
Lifted blacks, lowered whites and a slightly lower middle: the look of an old print.
Ink
Pushes the shadows down hard and keeps the lights bright. Night streets and silhouettes.
Summer
Lifts the shadows and midtones a little, for sunlit holiday colour without blown skies.
Window
Opens the shadows of a face lit from one side and keeps the window bright, not white.
Street
Deep shadows with a lifted floor and full whites: puddles and street lamps hold their shine.
The tenth look, Lantern, is on the Night looks page.
Looks by subject
Three short sets for the photos people edit most.
Lifted blacks and soft whites, for holiday and street photos.
Gentle highlights and open shadows for faces.
Deep shadows that keep the colour in lamps and signs.
