The two-bucket wash, step by step

Fill one bucket with shampoo and one with clean water, each with a grit guard at the bottom if you have them.

Rinse the car first. Wash from the roof down, one panel at a time, and rinse the mitt in the clean bucket before it goes back into the shampoo.

Do the wheels last with their own mitt, then dry with a plush microfibre towel laid flat and pulled, not rubbed.
