What we learnt from our first open call

Empty white gallery room with low benches and a plinth

Our first open call had more entries than we expected (sample note).

The works we chose all had one thing in common: the rules were as interesting as the result. Several came as runs, which is why we now hang every series that way.

The 2026 open call is free to enter and closes on 31 January.
