How to show a screen work well and keep a print looking new.

Screen works

A screen work is a file and a screen. Look after both.

  • Use a matte screen and set brightness to about two thirds
  • Put the screen on a timer so it rests at night
  • Keep the file in two places: the USB key and your own backup
  • Ask the gallery for a new copy if a file is ever lost

Ink on cotton paper lasts for decades away from strong light.

  • Frame behind UV-filtering glass
  • Hang it out of direct sunlight
  • Use an acid-free mount; our oak frames come with one
