Re-proofing a tired flysheet at home

If rain soaks into the flysheet instead of rolling off, the water-repellent finish has worn away (sample note).

Pitch the tent, clean it with plain water, then spray the proofer evenly and let it dry fully in the shade.

Our workshop runs a re-proofing evening every month: bring your tent and we do it together.
