Customer care
Holding and collecting, paying, renting, returns and repairs.
Collecting an item
We hold an item for three days after we reply. Bring the name on the request; we can pitch it for you before you pay.
Paying
Card or cash at the counter. Rentals are paid when you collect them and include a deposit (sample).
Care and repairs
Dry your tent before you pack it away. If a pole bends or a zip fails, bring it to the workshop.
Questions we are asked
If yours is not here, ask on the shop floor or send a gear request.
Can I buy online?
Not yet. Send a gear request or call, and we hold the item for three days so you can collect it and pay in the shop.
Can I return something?
Unused kit with its receipt can come back within 30 days (sample policy). Tents that have been pitched outside are checked first.
How does renting work?
Collect a kit on Friday afternoon, bring it back by Monday noon. Rental kits are cleaned and checked between trips.
Do you repair tents bought elsewhere?
Yes. Bring it in; we look at it with you and quote before we start.
Can you post an item to me?
Ask us: smaller items can be posted (sample). Tents and furniture are best collected.
How do I pay?
By card or cash in the shop when you collect. We do not take payment on the website.
