Questions before you book
Do I need any experience?
No. Foundation drawing, watercolour and the taster class are written for people starting from nothing.
What if I miss a week?
Tell us before the class and you can catch up on the same topic in the drop-in, or with the tutor’s notes.
Are materials included?
Yes for drawing, watercolour, acrylics and the kids classes. Oil painters get paints for week one and a shopping list for the rest (Example prices).
Can I book just one class?
The free taster class and the Friday life drawing are single sessions. Term courses are booked as a whole.
Is the studio accessible?
Yes. The studio is on the first floor with a lift from the yard, and two easels can be set at table height.
Try a free taster class first
Every Thursday at 19:00 a tutor runs a one-hour drawing class for new students. Paper, pencils and tea are on us; you only need to turn up.
